The Youth
Who They Are
Driven & Creative
-
Digital Native Creators: Born into a world of technology, our youth use digital tools, media, and design to express themselves and share their perspectives.
-
Artists & Performers: From live music and studio production to painting, culinary arts, and writing, they bring unstoppable creative energy into the center every single day.
Diverse & Inclusive
-
Every Walk of Life: Coming from every background across Crow Wing County, our youth prove daily that economic status doesn't define potential.
-
A Standard for Acceptance: They lead by example—building a culture of inclusion, mutual respect, and authentic connection where everyone belongs.
Connected & Boundless
-
No Strings Attached: They come to The Shop to find real community—a space to grab a hot meal, get help with life, or simply hang out without having to prove anything to anyone.
-
The Future of Brainerd: They are the upcoming workforce, business owners, local leaders, and visionaries who will shape the future of our area.
